The next important step towards the conclusion of the proceedings was taken

The new year started with very good news for FIMA. On January 11, 2022, the creditors of FIMA unanimously approved the restructuring plan presented to the district court in Heilbronn, which subsequently also accepted the plan.

While the last few months have not been easy for anyone involved, both lawyer and insolvency administrator Steffen Rauschenbusch of Ernestus Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH, as well as Dr. Serdar Ertong, Managing Director of FIMA, are extremely pleased with the positive developments. The management thanks everyone who actively supported FIMA on its course, especially the more than 100 FIMA employees for their dedication.

Once the confirmed plan has taken legal effect, the insolvency proceedings shall be formally concluded. Steffen Rauschenbusch expects the process to end within a few weeks of the expiration of various statutory deadlines.

The basis of the insolvency plan is the entry of Fontes Mittelstandskapital GmbH from Munich,  as was announced at the beginning of December 2021. Fontes has a long-term and strategic interest in FIMA and intends to contribute to the company both financially and with personnel.

Despite all the difficulties, 2021 was a good year for FIMA and the outlook for 2022 is also quite positive. The order books are already well filled.
