One-week training for FIMAPro employees

While originally planned for the end of last year, for the health of all involved, the training date for our FIMAPro colleagues on site at FIMA needed to be postponed to the beginning of 2022 due to a sharp increase in COVID cases around the world.

On January 17, 2022, the time had finally come. After all the organizational items on the agenda had been addressed, including a COVID test, the colleagues started the training week. During the week, Behzat Kılıç was mainly trained in pre-assembly. Following a current order, he was first shown all the important processing steps. After that, it was his job to carry out the work steps himself under the supervision of the FIMA employee. “Learning by doing” was the basic principle of the training. His colleague Ahmet Kölem started out in impeller fabrication. After the training phase, he too was able to show what he was made of. Training courses in welding, balancing and final assembly were also on the weekly schedule. Independent quality control using various measuring devices also played a key role in the training plan.

However, the training was not just about imparting specialist knowledge. Alongside business, all those involved should get to know each other better personally during this visit. This promotes mutual understanding and intercultural exchange. In addition to technical know-how, social aspects also play a decisive role in good cooperation. At the same time, the training offered the FIMAPro colleagues an insight into the company's internal processes. This will help all parties plan work and activity durations for more efficient scheduling and project planning.
