This summer, the Institut für Sicherheitstechnik (IBExU) audited FIMA Maschinenbau again. The IBExU is a technical engineering service company in the field of explosion protection, an accredtited test laboratory and accredited certification centre for the testing and certification of equipment, protective systems and components intended for use in potentially explosive areas. During the audit, the necessary technical requirements for producing explosion-proof blowers were examined carefully.
After detailed examination of all relevant matters through an unbiased auditor, we finally received the happy news:
Once again, FIMA Maschinenbau GmbH has been successfully certified for the production of blowers with explosion-proof design. Herewith we continue to fulfil the necessary requirements of the ATEX-manufacturers guideline, directive 2014/34/EU Annex IV.
