Successful new start for FIMA

FIMA's positive course now carries momentum; as reported in January, the proposed restructuring plan was approved unanimously and subsequently confirmed by the local district court in Heilbronn. Nothing stood in the way of the successful restructuring of FIMA – the procedure was formally concluded yesterday.

Not only lawyer and insolvency administrator Steffen Rauschenbusch of Ernestus Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH, who has attended to FIMA since 2019, but also Dr. Serdar Ertong, Managing Director of FIMA, are very pleased with the positive developments. This is an achievement for all those involved, made possible through dedication and teamwork.

With a view to long-term, sustainable success, FIMA has already been reorganized in many areas. FIMA will follow the newly set course. In addition to continuing the successful blower business, FIMA will focus on the expansion of compressor projects for selected applications with Fontes. Through the further expansion of the Turkish production site FIMAPro, the portfolio is supplemented by the Basic fan series for the price-sensitive markets and applications. Cooperation with research institutions and universities will promote innovation in promising markets. Increased internationalization with the establishment of a local service network will round off the business model.

Solid order intake at the beginning of the year and appreciative feedback on products and services reinforce the positive trend. According to plan, efforts continue to ensure that this trend carries on, including technological development to ensure FIMA stays at the forefront of the industry.
